Every family deserves a biography.
Sit down with someone you love. Ask the questions you have wanted to ask, listen, and follow the stories where they go. Echoes turns those recorded conversations into a printed family biography, reviewed by a real person and yours to keep.
The Echoes Family Biography · $98
The stories are already there.
They surface at the kitchen table, on a drive, or in the middle of a familiar story. A childhood home. A first job. The people they loved. The choices that shaped them.
You do not need to gather a whole life at once.
Make room for one conversation.
A family-led biography
The Echoes Family Biography · $98
You record the conversations. Echoes makes the book.
Sit down with one person you love. Ask, listen, and let the story unfold over one or several conversations. After purchase and consent, record up to five hours in total. A phone is enough.
Send Echoes the recordings and a few photographs. We organize the story into chapters, a real person reviews the biography, and your family receives a printed book and the digital files.

A book your family can hold. Files your family can keep.
The conversations take lasting form in three useful ways.
The biography
A first-person narrative in your storyteller’s voice, organized into approximately 8–12 chapters depending on the material.
The printed book
One standard 6×9 book with a color cover, black-and-white interior, and up to ten photographs.
The files
The final PDF and manuscript files are yours to keep, print, and share with your family.
Every interview is different. The biography may be up to approximately 25,000 words and 100 interior pages, depending on the substance and clarity of the recordings. Those are maximums, not promises. Echoes never pads a book to reach a page count.
“I wanted to be there when they told me.”
Echoes began at my grandparents’ table. I did not just want a list of stories. I wanted to sit with them, ask what happened next, follow the stories I had only heard pieces of, and be there for the moments I never would have thought to ask about on my own.
Over three days, we moved through childhood, work, family, and the stories that only surfaced because we stayed in conversation.
Those conversations changed how I understood my grandparents. I also wanted something my future children could open and read. Echoes grew from wanting both: the experience of hearing the story together and a book the family could keep.
